About

Hello, I’m Amanda and I live in the bonny Highlands of Scotland. I am a writer, poet, and 3rd year creative writing undergraduate at The University of the Highlands and Islands. I study under Dr Sara Bailey, screenwriter and author, and poet and novelist, Dr Mandy Haggith. I have a DipHE in creative writing and my work has been published in Northwords Now and Reflex Fiction. I was shortlisted for The Scottish Mental Health Festival‘s International Creative Writing Competition 2018, which led to my piece being published in their anthology, ‘Beginnings’. I was also published in an anthology when I won second place in Highland Lit‘s creative writing competition, ‘Highland Lights’. I also provide ghostwriting and beta reading services.
